About the Tango Masters

Guillermina Quiroga & Mariano Logiudice

GUILLERMINA QUIROGA is an extraordinary dancer, a legendary star in Tango history. She is known as the most brilliant Tanguera, milonguera and choreographer in the world. She was a professional Ballet dancer before tango, in 1988 she entered the world of the milongas in Buenos Aires, and become the partner of choice of many seasoned milongueros, particularly Puppy Castello. She won the first Tango contest of the city of Buenos Aires just a year after she started dancing. She has since performed in Tango x 2, been principal dancer for Mariano Mores’ orchestra, dancer with the US and Europe tours of Broadway’s Forever Tango, exclusive principle dancers with Julio Iglesias’ Tango world tour, and performed in Tango Magic and Tango Argentino in Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. In another facet of her career, Guillermina has been featured on the silver screen in movies like Naked Tango, Assassination Tango in Buenos Aires, and made Hollywood debut as an actress and choreographer in Valentina’s Tango.

MARIANO LOGIUDICE is not only an extraordinary performer, instructor and choreographer, he also has a unique background being a karate world champion before becoming a tango dancer. Mariano is a trained physical sports therapist, a psychologist. Mariano has been Guillermina’s assistant for all her classes for the last four years. He is patient, detailed and able to convey not only the intensity and passion of Argentine Tango but also the subtleties through demonstration, technique and observation.

She’s a dancer.

She’s also a milonguera.

She dances with many famous milongueros, big names all through the history, like Pupi Castello, Milguel Zotto, Roberto Reis, Gabriel Misse, Junior Cervila… many more…

NOW, she dances with Mariano Logiudice

Juan Martín Carrara and Stefanía Colina

Juan Martín and Stefanía are Tango Salón teachers, dancers and Choreographers. They won the 2009 Intercontinental Tango Salón Championship and Uruguayan Tango Salón Championship in 2012. Young, extremely talented and diligent, they dance with an immense respect for the tradition and the music, and yet keep working on new forms of expression and their own development in the salon and on the stage.

Juan Martin Carrara started his dancing career when he was 13 years old as a ballet and contemporary dancer and an actor of musical comedy. At the age of 16 he entered in the Nacional Academy of Dance of Uruguay and was selected for the “Young Ballet”, touring all the theatres of the region as a performer of modern and clasic Ballet. After a few years he met with tango and at the same time with Stefanía Colina, and fell in love with both.

Stefania Colina started her career as a ballet and contemporary dancer in the “Orlama” School at the age of 4 year-old. She graduated at 17, after 13 years of intense training and became a teacher of the school. During that time she had the opportunity to experience many dance styles that were taught as a complement to ballet, that is how she met with tango and Juan Martin, and from that day started a passionate life-changing story for both of them.

Together they left all they had in Uruguay and moved almost immediately to Buenos Aires with nothing more than their intense desire to dance and teach tango. Being extremely popular teachers in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Europe, Korea etc, their classes allow one to hear and feel what is most intangible in tango. They are known for their successful and engaging teaching method. Their exquisite musicality, charm, elegance and sensuality have won them many hearts in all over the globe.
